The Merida Mission CX 7000 is a carbon CycloCross Bike ready to roll any any surface you can find. Everything about the Mission CX 7000 is built to go fast, starting with the lightweight CF3 Carbon Frame which is stiff, durable and paired with a carbon fork to help with vibrations and improve control. It's hard to go past the swift efficiency of the 2x11 Shimano Ultegrea drivetrain, designed for fast and reliable riding. Ride in complete control with confidence thanks to the Shimano Ultegra Hydraulic Disc Brakes with 160mm rotors for all-weather braking control so that you can hit every corner hard.
The combination of the Maxxis All Terrane 700x33c tyres and Fulcrum Racing 700 DB Wheels deliver fast rolling efficiency and speed. The main difference between this model and the CX 5000 is the groupset as the 2x11 speed Ultregra offers a significant point of difference over the 1x11 speed SRAM Apex 1 groupset on the 5000. While the aforementioned Fulcrum Racing 700 DB Wheels are also a nice improvement on the Merida CX Expert Rims for the model below. Features
Carbon Fork: All MISSION CX models feature a full carbon tapered fork with a 12 mm bolt through axle. The bolt through improves stiffness for the axle, whilst the tapered carbon steerer increases vertical stiffness, providing very precise steering and enhanced confidence in corners.
Adaptability: All our MISSION CX models have the ability to add mudguards, making them more versatile, particularly when used as a training or commuting bike. The removable seat stay bridge (not available on aluminium models) stays in place to securely hold the rear mudguard or gets removed for a cleaner look and improved mud clearance.
Smart Entry: On our MISSION CX models, cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake and gear cable housings etc.
